BUNDLED UP OOTD

So as I'm trying to save my ass off this year FOR VERY EXCITING THINGS , venturing out on the weekend has been less and less. Not that i mind been honest. Here in Dublin the weather has just got worse and worse. Like seriously guys its freezing. Today i decided to brave the cold with my nifty new scarf and long sleeve top. Regardless of the new attire ........ it was still bloody cold as balls haha . Anyways, i wanted to get a couple of blog photos as it was a mission and a half to get a pic without my coat off without SHAKING !!! Recently as like i said I'm trying to save, I've been buying more high street stuff as it's cheaper. But also i am getting to a stage in my life where i kinda wanna try more ways of dressing and right now that simplistic yet stylish look is what I'm trying for . I happen to think its nice for a change although you guys may not agree but in life it doesn't hurt to try something new , unless it does haha.

So, as you can see a bit of a more grown up look for me but I'm kinda loving it. Also my obsession with grey continues , this blanket scarf from penneys was an absolute steal at 9e and will feature as a key piece of my wardrobe until this 2nd winter weather is gone. pallets upon palettes

Look everyone I'm truly sorry i haven't blogged in awhile, but its a new year so hopefully I'll have more free time and be more forthcoming with the whole blogging thing. I decided rather than do another outfit post I'll try something new. This blog is gonna be about make up palettes. No, I'm not a make up blogger or a MUA. I merely want to show you the palettes i got over the Christmas period and swatch them for you. This blog with not contain gorgeous shots of unreal make up on me, nor will it contain close up shots of eyeshadow done so good it could end a world war ...... just swatches haha! Also I'm trying to achieve a clean, more grown up look on my instagram so i shot these pictures with that in mind. 

So here we go , starting with the Gwen Stefani palette for Urban Decay :

The packaging is super sleek and very very appealing to the eye. The contrast of the black, gold, white and designs are very bold. Who doesn't want to have something this cool looking popping outta there make up bag. Now to the colours, there is something for everyone. Nude lovers welcome, bold bright lovers welcome and all of the above. Now time for the swatches and I'll name the colours below the pictures from left to right :)

The next palette I'm going to show you guys is the Inglot ''love'' palette. I'm pretty sure this was brought out juts for Christmas and was very hard to get your hands on in store and online. So imagine my surprise after weeks of trying it turns up in one of my many gifts off my boyfriend at Christmas. The colour again are for everyone. I think most make up brands are doing this more often, cause lets face it there's nothing worse than and amazing palette that doesn't match your complexion in some shape or form.

Look at those colours ...... to die for. They seemed to have gone for more earthy tones with there eye shadows in this palette and who doesn't LOVE A NUDE OR A SUBTLE BROWN ???

Now that I've showed you the ingot palette, its onto the Urban Decay's Naked 2. 

Years ago on a holidays to the Canaries my naked palette obsession began. I used the thing religiously. Then last year my parents got me the 3rd palette and again it was getting absolutely rallied. This year again at Christmas i was surprised to unwrap a gift off the boyfriend and it revealed NAKED 2. The excited i tell ya. My collection was complete :) 

Again ...... this is fricking slick looking and the picture also features a rose i got at my brothers wedding and my amazing mirror jewellery box i received off my parents at Christmas.Its like they knew i wanted a more minimal yet grown up look for my insta haha.

I know this was a really unusual blog for me to do, but just think of it as a haul blog but in regards to make up and not clothes. I hope yous don't mind me trying something new but its the new year so WHY NOT RIGHT ? Hope all of your new years started off as good as mine and continues on in that fashion.
