Hi guys , just blogging from me bedroom this week as I'm back on the saving mode. Its so difficult for someone like to me to save. Its like my world is ending if I'm honest . I spent the majority of the day looking at things on eBay that i cannot buy ..... TORTURE! Anyways its all for the greater good . It will mean i can buy a hell of a lot of stuff on my trip to New York. Six more weeks and I'm outta here and heading away ! It can not come quick enough . I'm at that stage where even minor things in work are frustrating me ! Everyone in retail will know what I'm talking about .I haven't had a week off since march and its defo catching up on me, but this holiday with be worth the struggle and wait .

As well as trying to save i spent a good bit of the day in bed with headaches . I dunno if its connected to what i have blog about previously or just a headache.I just wanted to blog quickly as i havent blogged in like a week so wasn't letting anything stop me .Plus i needed to do something to fill the day before absolute boredom set in ......... CABIN FEVER .

The outfit is just quickly put together but defo still blog-able. I also really really liked my make up today as well . As u will see in the pics below it looks soo fresh and light. Lets get on with the outfit details , the true reason you are all here , other than the pics haha.

The jacket : The jacket is from Fresh in temple bar. I actually purchased this online through there website as i didn't get a chance to pop over due to work and been busy . These jackets are call Ikat jackets and a hugely common with festivals and people who of the hippie persuasion . I really fell in love with this due to the vibrant colours . I am usually a black base kinda of person and probably woulda never went for this a couple of months ago but i just wanted it. Since .i got this i literally haven't wore anything else and i probably wont for a while either . Its perfect for that boho kinda look i have been into lately and yet it can be woren with anything.

The dress : This i got in topshops sale like months ago ! Seriously guys i got it for a tenner. Absolute bargain :) Its from the Loving Youth collection ( which i love ) in topshop. I was a bit iffy on whether to get as it was so cheap and '' Vinatge,'' so i thought maybe all the '' wannabe vintage huns '' would snap it up . Now in all honesty i haven't seen anyone else wear it . Maybe its not cool enough cause one of their girlos friends hasn't woren it yet . I love anything mesh and the fact it was printed blue and white made it better . Mesh dresses like this are so handy for the humid weather we are having in Ireland at the moment . 

Choker : This i got in topshops most recently sale which wasn't the best but i got a few bits . This i seen the first day of the sale and it was only like 20% off and i hadn't got the money to purchase . Then i went back in again during the week and it had been reduced again to 6euro . I fricking love this , the coins , the colour and the fit ! ALL PERFECT . Defo worth 6euro and something that could be woren which most of this years summer looks :) 

Like i said before this is just a quick ootd post and was taken in me room. Seems as I'm saving most of my blogs for the next 6 weeks will be taken place in room . New York savings need to become my priority so my blog will have to lose out on good locations . But I'll have great locations in New York so that will keep me motivated :)

Time to come to terms ........ I've completely fallen for the whole hippie trend and i don't wanna stop wearing the look. I dunno if it is because the look allows oneself to be outrageous and mix prints and textures or whether i was a hippie in a previous life . I think its the fact i started to watch a TV show called 'Aquarius,' which is set in 1967 and all of the hippies clothes are to die for haha. Its just seems to be surrounding me lately and i do love dressing up and I'm willing to try any type of style imaginable. Believe me if i lived in Japan I'd totally be a Harajuku girl, its the dream in all honesty.

For all you hippie looking clothes loving people , you gotta check out Ette Clothing. Its seriously the epitome of Hippie chic AND always have deals on so its never too expensive. Seems as I'm still sick ( see previous post), today i jumped at the chance to actually go out and get a bitta fresh air . Also my outfit was on point so why not take blog pics :) My head still isn't the best and my eye is well an eye sore to look at but i didn't wanna let that stop me. 

Here are the outfit details for all you sick ass people :)

Poncho : This is from the aforementioned Ette Clothing . I seen this a couple of times on the website and was completely in love . But at the time i was kinda broke and defo couldn't afford it . Every time i went on it was there mocking me in all its beauty and then one day BOOM ....... it was reduced and it had to be mine . I got this a couple of weeks ago and i really didn't no what to pair it with so that's the reason i haven't posted it until today ! As it was a couple of weeks ago now that i purchased it, i can't remember the price but i think it was about 17euro mark . This outfit in itself is pretty basic but putting this on completely pulled the look together and fulfilled the picture i had in my head .

Lace trousers : I'm not been one of those ' i wore a trend before it was a trend ' girls , but i purchased these lace ,see through flares way back when in Oct of last year . Now I'm seeing them everywhere and it pushed me not to wear them . But then i thought, fuck it, no matter what you could be the first to wear something and someone will always be there to drag you down and say you copied someone ! Look we all get our ideas from somewhere BUT most of the time i like to try and think of different ways of wearing . Sometimes someone can get there before you but that doesn't me they are better than you ! It just means in the future , trust you gut and wear it ! I bought these in a size 12 , don't ask me why , i know I'm not a size 12 ! But cause they are big on me it means i can't wear them without something going over the waist band but they were just to pretty to return . This Ette Clothing poncho was the perfect solution to the problem and it portrays that perfect hippie vibe! I got them in H&M for 10e on the sale rack .

The hat : OK ....... Anyone who has read any of my blogs can see i have a black hat obsession . Up until recently my favourite one was the oversized h&m one . But i think i found a worthy replacement . I was in work looking at the Forever 21 windows and spotted this beauty . It was on a male mannequin , but when it comes to my wardrobe every item of clothing i see is unisex . I don't care if it was made for a man ! If i like it I'm gonna wear it . I went over on my lunch and it was so meant to be . It was the last one of this style left in black. I tired it on ...... all the angels from heaven sang . It had to be mine ! I was 16.95e and at that price who could say no , not me that's who haha . I'm going to New York in August and this will be defo coming with me in place of the h&m one. Look a bit of advice , if you look up a the hippie look the statement piece for a girl is flares and a floppy hat . I would defo recommend you invest in both if you want to achieve this look . These type of hats are a stayer if you ask me and the fit for ever season , so your defo not wasting money in getting one. It can take your outfit from average to fashion forward in one swift movement of placing a hat on your head .

I've kinda had a bit of a frightening time the past couple of days been honest. Yesterday i woke up with the ultimate headache and put it down to just having a migraine. I went to work like normal and proceeded with my day. Then as i was doing my job my manager notice a blood spot in my eye that wasn't there until that moment. I asked a few people i worked with what it could be and the said burst blood vessel in the eye. I went to boots and spoke to the pharmacist and she took my blood pressure and gave me the advice to go the doctor. She was worried that something like this had happened just from and headache and thought maybe it was my blood pressure.  But been the person i am i went back to work and carried on. After an hour of getting back to work the pain got far to much and i had to make my way home . As it was a head pain and a burst vessel my parents were really worried and got me an appointment for the docs . I went into him and he said it was a hemorrhage in the eye and to rest and it was due to blood pressure. Although i masked my fear with bravery the fact it was head pains and my eye i was basically shitting myself . Don't be like me and be afraid to show that you are scared , talk to someone and let them help you . Its not worth it in the end . As my boyfriend said its better to be safe than sorry and as always he was right .

Today i was suppose to be in work but the pain persisted until 3 this morning and i really didn't feel fit for work due to the pain and the hour sleep i got. But I'm such a busy body so i decided to blog and even doh its not really serious but just wanted to make people aware of stuff that can happen due to blood pressure , stress and bottling things up . It takes SO much effect on your body without you noticing ! Look after yourself first before anything else , your health is worth so much more that you think . I've never felt SO loved by the people around me and I'm so thankful to have so many people who care and worry for me . I'm so lucky been honest.

 Here is a little pic of what it looks like today. Its begun to spread across the eye which i was told would happen . Ps don't mind the ugly pic haha but i am one step closer to looking like a bad ass zombie bitch :)

As i was stuck in all day today i decided to do an OOTD post wearing the outfit i was gonna wear to meet my friend/ fellow blogger Sophia :) I had to let her down due to the dilemma. The outfit in the pics above is one of my favourite looks I've ever posted . So much fun and sooo much black haha . Lately as well i have become obsessed with American themed clothing and accessories . Lets get away from all the drama of my life the past two days and focus on the important bits , the clothes :)

Bandanna : I got this off ebay for like 1.50e . Not much at all if you think about it and look how it pulls the whole outfit together . Sometimes its good to have little cheap pieces like this as like i stated above it can just complete the whole look . Also i think i have gained an new love for headbands . I'm already a boho, rock ,princess may as well complete the look with nodded to the 60's style headband .

Choker : Right , this choker i bought a long time ago . I think it coulda be around the time of Halloween if I'm not mistake . I got it  in topshop and it was on offer, so i had to have it . Whats new , i always have to have something right ? I've tried it with soooo many looks and it never looked right then i tried it with this and ....... PERFECT . It again is one of those items that can add a whole lot to an outfit . It brings that bitta harshness i always like adding to girly or basic outfits . I think i picked this up for 6.50e , sucha steal as its timeless.

Belt : Seems as this was an American themed kinda ootd , whats more American than a big ole Western belt ! I seemed to have loaded this outfit with lots and lots of accessories . I think its cause it all black and very basic , i thought i needed to add a bit of personality . The belt I've blog about before and I'm pretty sure i paid 12.95e for it in forever 21 . 

Shorts : These i purchased in urban outfitters , the are from the renewal bit and they're Levis . When i got them they were far to long on the leg and not very flattering , so i cut them up. I no i haven't got the best of legs as it is ( thunder thighs ) but they really needed a bit of altering . I think you cannot go wrong with a great pair of Levis , especially if they are a black pair !These are gonna come to New york with me as i think the are a holiday essential :)

This week i had a 3 day weekend off work due to the fact i booked it off. The truth is now i have a couple of days off work meant i could spend lots of time with the boyfriend. Its always a fun time when he is around :) I absolutely LOVE the zoo here in Dublin , so we decided to go. Well by decided i mean i wouldn't shut up asking until he agreed . Anyways we went today and it was glorious .The weather wasn't the best but when is it in Ireland ! Seems as it was a date day meant i had to have a new outfit. I just like to look nice when having a date day, it just makes me feel good about myself. Today's outfit is not fully new but the vocal point is and WOW its amazing .

Seems as i keep going on about my outfit to the zoo, let me give you guys the details !

Jacket : This is the most recent purchase in my wardrobe. It again is from Nine crows and if you don't know already , i shop there a lot . Its my favourite place to go when i have money. Every pay day i venture down as i'd rather a one of piece than a high street piece anyone can have. This pay day i went down with the intention of getting something else but thIS masterpiece caught my eye ! Electric blue , suede and fringe all in one biker shaped jacket. I just had to have ! I cannot remember the price but as I've stated before pieces like this are worth giving the money for as its timeless.

Crop Top : Back in march i went to London for my yearly trip :) In the Topshop on Oxford St. they have the best concessions. Ever since my first time over there i have been in awe of The Ragged Priest ! I find though, since my first trip the prices have gone up SO much. I had seen the other version of this crop top (white) on Instagram , can't remember what it said but this version seemed more fitting for the type of person i am!I think it was around £26 mark which isn't that bad but converted into euro its probably around 30e. I actually cannot believe i haven't woren at all since buying in march. I'm glad i held out as i think this little outfit is killer !

Culottes : Ok, i know these are huge now but i bought these way back in August last year in Las Vegas . I cannot believe how huge this style of trouser has become ! I understand why they are so popular among women and it represents the long known fact that women do not dress for men. I got these in Forever 21 for a steal , i think they were like $12.95. I think they were that cheap because they weren't as big a trend as the are now.

THE ZOO :

Like i said early i went to the zoo today . It was soooo much fun. I try go every year and this time was a treat. They have implemented a new area for the sea lions and its unreal. There is a part where you can go down and see the sea lions swimming in the depths of the water ! Unfortunately they only had one sea lion make an appearance but it was still exciting . Seems as though i didn't get to see them under water means i have to go again haha .

Lately I've been getting in touch with my inner hippie side and i cannot stop ! I had a bitta extra free time this weekend so i could blog twice . YAY ! I held off posting this one until during this week as i didn't wanna bombard you guys with my blog. I know sometimes it can be a bit too much and some people don't have the time to read it all the time. Usually i hate dressing for summer, due to the looks at me for how pale my skin is , but this year i dunno what happened to me ! The legs are out all over the gaff and why not ? I'm finally comfortable enough with myself not to care about how white i am. I know its almost see tru but who cares ! WE WERE ALL BORN TO BE DIFFERENT :) 

This look is sooooo easy to achieve at the moment and even when its not on trend I'm thinking i might like to continue to dress this way as i find it very flattering for my body type . These pics were taken by my boyfriend like usual, he's sucha gem ! They were taken in the same place i always take photos, the war memorial gardens in Kilmainham.

Lets get on with the outfit details :

Dress : The dress is from forever 21 ( stated above ) and was only 16euro . The print and style is a huge nod to the 70's . It was so comfy. Maybe that is due to the fact that its a large . Look it was the last one hanging on the rail and the colour, shape and print were so intriguing i just had to have . I'm a huge believer of the moto , '' Buy now or cry later.'' This kinda situation happens to me often , mostly due to lack of funds and not sizing . Money issues are usually block most of the purchases i wish to make , as i never have money in my account . I'm trying to change this ! So in future blogs i shall let u know the progress haha.

Waistcoat : HOLY SUEDE ! Suede is a HUGE yes in my wardrobe ! I absolutely hate the fact that high street shops has started to make these mediocre replicas . Girls get to the closest vintage shop or even online and spend a little more for sucha a timeless key item. Lets face it, every year around this time the fringe and suede come out in force because of festival season , so why not have one there for your time of need. I got this little beaut of a waistcoat back in march in London. I got it in beyond retro and it was £32. I know its a bit pricey for a waistcoat but look its an investment . I'll have this for years to come. Its cool with dresses ( like pics above) or even jeans and a basic top if that's what your into . Defo check out beyond retro online , they've got some great pieces .

Hat : This hat i have a love/hate kinda relationship with . First of all let me state i cannot get any hat like this to stay on my head at all ! Its so frustrating but damn do they look fucking brilliant on. This hat(forever 21) in particular is the one which blows off the most ! I cannot walk down the street without having one hand on my head . Ok so they were the cons and now the pros ....... JUST LOOK AT IT ! Its pure, western perfection. I thought this would look better with this outfit rather than my go to h&m one. I cannot remember the price of it but I'm sure it was cheap enough !

Chain : Just a quick little trick for all u fashionistas out there . This unreal chain is actually two anklets i got off eBay . I thought i'd be a little crafty and just join the two of them together to see if it would actually look like a chain . Boom !!!!!! It looks amazing .Be doing things like this more often . Girls try it out with any unwanted bracelets or even use unwanted chains and tie them around a pair of boots that u feel need a little style boost .
