I know i have posted about festivals before and here i am posting about them once more , but festival fever has swept the whole of Dublin. The most talked about one or at least the most talked about one to me is Forbidden Fruit. Forbidden Fruit is happening literally a couple of  mins down the road from me. Its taken part in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham. The grounds within this place are amazing and i was having a wonder through the other day and i seen workers working on the whole set up for the festival, IT LOOKS AMAZING GUYS. Seems as everyone is all excited about this bank holiday weekend as its full of fun , i thought it seemed fitting that I'd do and inspo post on a festival look. I am currently a broke bitch due to paying off my holiday to New York this summer ,So I'll be living vigorously through others and there isnta this weekend haha . I'm sure New York will be worth sitting in weekends for :) 

Anyways , lets get on with outfit details :)

This is totally what i would wear if i was going to Forbidden Fruit . The outfit is sooooo fun and free , everything you kinda need at a festival :)

 Kaftan : This i purchased last year for going to Las Vegas . But seems as I'm me and i always get far to many clothes , i never brought it as my luggage was jam packed. I got this in Nine Crows and i believe it is something i will hold onto for years. Its just sooooo cool ! Colour, shape and fit are just absolutely perfect, even more perfect for a festival :) I cannot remember the price and I'm pretty sure the still have one or two of these one their website , you could defo get it in time as they have a 'pick up in store' option .

Dr. Marten Boots : Praise the lord baby Jesus !!!! These again where another last years Nine Crows purchase. They set me back, i think 120euro, BUT so fucking worth the money. I'm sorry but try and tell me these aren't the coolest vintage docs EVER ! I added the yellow laces meself just to add a pop of colour to this outfit . Again these are defo another essential for a festival . Its predicted to rain over the weekend, so to all u girlos attending the festivals ...... remove the sandals outta yer look and invest in a pair of wellies or boots ! 

Sunnies : I seen something similar on a girl on insta , but yano those insta famous people and there designer pieces meant they were soooo outta my price range. So i thought lets hit up the eBay . Ebay is actually a brilliant tool for something like this ! If u ever seen ANYTHING you want over priced in certain shops , hit up eBay ! Believe me your sure to get it for half the price or less . These sunnies are as close as i was gonna get to the ones i seen and the were only 3euro ! YES 3 FRICKING EURO . I'm telling ya guys eBay is a resource you all need to be looking into .Now these were suppose to be for New York but sure i couldn't resist putting them with this outfit :)

I'm so glad i got up early this morning to blog . It was beautiful and sunny this morning, now its miserable and rainy ..... typical DUBLIN. I took all the pics out my back garden. My da has recently been redecorating the back and i think it looks absolutely amazing . Due to all the paper lanterns, other lanterns and flowers i thought it was the perfect back drop for a festival inspo post :)

Today was date day with the boyfriend:) We went to see Mad Max , but I'll get to that later. As the title of this post suggests, I'm gonna talk about my lack of tan. I have always been a very pale girl and being from Dublin, where we get little to no sun, I've never had a chance to build a tan up. I've always been quiet comfy with my pale skin and never really felt outta place because of it. Some people are go against the idea of bearing their natural colour and thinks it makes them look unhealthy but i have always just embraced it. I'm not here sayin '' Jesus i hate tan people'' and all that jazz, cause i actually envy them . I really just couldn't be arsed in spending all the time that it takes to put on false tan. Even we the time is spent in applying in ever so perfectly, IT STILL LOOKS FAKE GUYS . As for sunbeds, I'm going to new york this summer and was thinking of doing a few just to build a base , but I'm a little afraid of the damage and ageing it would do to my skin. It's such a dangerous was of gaining that glow for summer, so i think I'm just gonna embrace my paleness one more time and you should too :) It's ok to be as pale as Casper.

Outfit details:

This duster was a great investment a couple of months back. It just comes in so so handy. It can change a completely basic and casual outfit into something special. Its a no effort jacket and sometimes that's wat a girl needs . It's from penneys ( where i work ) and was reduced to like 9euro.

This white tshirt dress was a love at first sight item. I seen it in forever 21 two weeks ago, but hadn't got the money to buy to my disappointment. But i end up getting it. Yano when u build an outfit up in your head so much , then you put it on and its a let down....... well i kinda felt like that with this outfit . Then tru out the day it grew on me :) I got sooo many people staring at me in this dress , it could be due to the fact that i blend in with it haha. 

White on white when it comes to these New Look boots. Can you guys believe that these were only 12euro!!!! TWELVE EURO ! I couldn't believe it when they scanned for that . I knew they where in sale but not that cheap. I'm sucha boot girl. Even in summer i like to wear boots and as these where white i thought they would be perfect for those times when i didn't wanna wear sandals ..... my toes do be cold yano.

Now onto Mad Max: Fury Road :)

This movie is NOT a movie for the girlie girls, so avoid ! As for me i sat in pure amazement watching this movie. Explosions upon explosions on top of gun fire. There is not a lot of dialogue but a movie like this is not about the dialogue ! Tom hardy as mad max is unreal. The man speaks probably only 30 lines the whole movie but it's all that's his character needs to speak. Its sucha feast for the eyes and i highly recommend it and suggest you get down to a cinema near , if not ur missing out .

Just a quick little blog to keep you guys interested haha. I was in work till 9 tonight so excuse the ' woren for most of day' make up! But at least I'm making the effort to blog :) 

I just took these pics after work tonight and they are very the same due to an all black outfit. This is the kinda outfit i would love to wear everyday, but I'd feel very boring ! I haven't been feeling the best lately and its so hard to get outta a funk but i think this outfit reflects my lack of motivation and bad mood vividly :) BUT sure look its only a bad mood, not a bad life :) I'll be back to normal soon enough. It's just that being sick SUCKS! Even though to most this outfit might seem quiet boring to me it seems on point ! The black bomber , flat black runners and high waisted trousers are all my fave items right now and most of the coolest insta peeps i follow.

Here we go with outfit details :

This h&m hat is my pride and joy ! It's the best, biggest and blackest hat ever ! I know alot of ppl might not like the idea of this hat with this outfit , but i don't care and that's all that matter when it comes to fashion right ? I not a 'keep up with the jones' kinda girl when it comes to fashion. If i feel it , i feel it. Who cares who judges. give it a month and they will be all wearing something u wore the previous month. 

Yesterday i spent a good hour looking on eBay for a nice bomber jacket. I found one but it was overpriced and then i REMEMBERED i have this beaut ( in above pics) in me wardrobe. Basically i saved meself a whole lotta bucks :) This one is from nine crows and was only 35e . Its actually quiet stiff around the cuff and waist but i think with a few more wears it will sit the way i want it too :) Ps, everyone needs to either check out nine crows online or pop into town to them :)

The trousers i have blogged about before and i kinda am in love with them lately. Maybe its cause Ive been feeling shit and these are so flattering. That defo could be it haha. They were the first thing that came to mind when i thought of this outfit. Just because i only got in at half 9 and the thoughts of putting on jeans killed me haha.

Just decided to do a blog post featuring new nirvana tshirt as i recently got to watch, Montage of heck. The doc is truly eye opening. I am of the opinion that you do not have to be a fan of the band or the man himself to watch this. It shows how by human nature we all strive to succeed, but sometimes when dreams are achieved its not all its cracked up to be. Kurt, although he displayed an image of the most unambitious person ever, he was dying to become famous . He achieved all of his dreams and more , but yet wasn't happy. The animation of Kurt was uncanning and getting to see home made videos of him and Courtney shaked me to the bone. I found myself watching one part in particular and almost getting teary eyed . The reason why u ask , he is such an icon to me and he is so re veered in his field that when i seen the home made video of him and Courtney directly after the banged up rattled me. It was kinda boarder line scary ! It is indeed a good watch and 100% insightful to the mind frame of the man to is considered the king of grunge .

After watching the doc i realised i am a huge fan but yet haven't got a band tshirt ! This totally goes against all of my beliefs ! I am not one of those girls who wear a band tee yet are not able to name one single song by the band . God i hate those girls , COP ON ! I found this one in a little hippie shop i get most of my band tshirts ( i really need to remember the name of the shop) The quality outta this shop in unbelievable and worth paying 18e for .

The bomber , i know is by far to big for me LOL . It's a men's XL but i had to have it! Although this was a had to have item from Nine Crows , a few weeks ago it was an almost ''throw out'' item ! After wearing today I'm so glad i decided against the removal from my wardrobe :) It completely pulled the whole look together. Overall i tried to create a grunge yet not scruffing looking look and i think i achieved it. 

Again everyone ........ EVERYONE should watch this doc, its 110% worth your time . Its nice to see that just us plebs arent the only ones unhappy with our lives and maybe we should be happier as we havent got the hassle of fame and excessive money to worry about too.

Just a quick little outfit blog. This ootd features the best damn high waisted skinnies i have ever bought. They're from river island but the rips i added later, just for a more punk look. Today i decided it was time to stop being ashamed of the fact I'm not stick thin. I decided to embrace the waist. Plenty of times I've shyed away from wearing things because of the excuse '' I'm not skinny enough.'' Well fuck that, YES I AM! And yes you ARE TOO :) Stop putting yourself down and be you. God only knows there are many girls out there looking at ur insta or you on the street and wants to be you. We are all suppose to be different , be it size, colour and looks. Time to stop comparing yourself to others and realise your perfect too!

As well as embracing my body type Ive also dyed my hair again ! This happens every now and again. But this time its for a long time. I, up until recently had ombre which completely ruined my hair hence the change. Usually i hate my hair straight after i do it , but this , this i love and I'm gonna keep :) Overall I'm a much happier person the past couple of week, which I'm hoping to continue.

So back to the outfit details, The top is super cute but seems as these are all selfie pics Ive none of the back ! If i get to wear it again I'll make sure to get a pic. The runners are just perfect. As I'm not a mad sneaker person i don't like to spend alot of money on them. Probably the only thing i don't spend loads of money on haha. But anyways these Stan smith look alikes were only 24e in new look :) Such a bargain right ?

Summer fever has set in

Finally after a couple of days with greasy, horrible and unstyled hair , my bathroom is back to normal ! This means lots and lots of pretty, shiny hair. I have already done a post on what i would possibly wear if i went to a festival , which i really enjoyed , so i decided to kinda do another one. This look ( above ) could 100% be worn to a festival . In all honesty this is more like something i would kinda wear in comparsion to previous post. This is alot more free and fun , all of which i like. SO I'm not gonna keep chit chatting, lets get to the bit people actually care about !!!!! OUTFIT DETAILS :)

This hat is my frickin life . I kid you not. I am slightly a little bit obsessed with hats , specially black ones. This one is from h&m and i never ever wanna part with it. It's perfect for summer, festivals and winter . Look its just perfect for anytime of year and would be worth the investment if you came across a similar one. Even though i don't go to festivals, due to expensive holidays and lack of funds, i still get so excited about them. I love seeing what everyone is gonna wear and i love the fact that its a chance for people to be completely outrageous. 

The tshirt is a hunted down item i got off ebay. I seen something like this one on an girl on insta and fell in love. This took awhile to actually find as i really didn't know what i was looking for. I ordered and XL as i wanted it as a dress and look its perfect. This clashing yellow, gold and blue colours are absolutely perfect for summertimes.

THE BOOTS! These vintage Dr.marten boots are from my fave , Nine Crows. They were like 120e BUT just look at them . SERIOUSLY ! They are woren within an inch of their little shoe life, but it gives them such character. Sometimes.......well most of the time i dress like a 'biker rock chick' so as a flat shoe option these are the bomb. I really should wear these more often.

The kimono is something i picked up in penneys for 1euro. It was on a reduced rail that was marked 1euro odds and when i seen it was black and fringey it screamed ''HELLO JEN'' I'm not hugely mad on penneys stuff but every now and again you can get little gems like this kimono for a cheap as chips price but other wise i usually prefer to put the extra money and get else wear. 

Hope you all enjoy this 2nd festival-ish / summer look blog post and possibly use it again as inspo for your festival outfit. I am hoping to keep the quality of my posts at the standard of this one in the future and hopefully time doesnt slip away from me like last week .

Just a quick little ootd post.  As my bathroom is been done up I haven't been able to wash my hair at all .This fact has made me not wanna waste a really good outfit , when i feel like shit ! 

This outfit is quiet basic and not what I'm really into! I really wish I could pull this off everyday as it's simple to achieve . But I feel like the people who can pull this look off everyday is girls who work in American apparel or extremely beautiful girls , both of which I'm not obviously.
