PINK CHRISTMAS DRINKS

Hi guys i know I've been kinda M.I.A lately , but that tends to happen when you work in retail at Christmas time and have barely anytime to yourself , let alone to take pics for a blog haha. I've been really missing blogging as of late and i was sorta thinking of giving up, but thanks to the advice of my boyfriend I'm gonna continue to strive on and keep at it.

So like i said working in retail is absolutely soul destroying if I'm honest. But this past wed, me and fellow blogger Sophia decided to go our Christmas gift swap :) We decided to have a bite to eat and a couple of drinks to wash the food down. As always we had an frickin blast and she got me the best gifts EVER. We met after work to head out so my out wasn't the greatest but defo one of the better ones I've put together in awhile.

This look was a bit outta my realm due to the pink, seems as it was Christmas i thought why not do it again and step outta my boundaries . I think it worked very well with the other things I'd chosen for this outfit and it was a steal for 10e.

Now i hate to do this and make you all soooooooo bloody jealous but I'm gonna have to upload a pic of what she got me !!!!! The best gift of all was the gift of MAC Stone lipstick :) :) I've been trying months to get it and she got it for me ...... PS my best friend is better than Urs :P

TURNING 26

Ok, guys this previous weekend was my 26th birthday. I'm not one to be hugely excited for my birthday as its an awkward time of year for people to be doing and buying things for others. I also hate putting pressure on people to do said above so i use to basically just not care. But as one grows older it gets harder as your witness everyone else enjoying there birthdays , so i thought why not try make it as special as it can possibly be coming to Christmas. Last year was the one year in my adult life that i sincerely enjoyed my birthday and that was due to my boyfriend and my parents. I thought why not try the same thing this year. 

So on Saturday my boyfriend got me tickets to see , Nightmare before Christmas, in the lighthouse cinema ......one of my favourite cinemas EVER ! But as that wasn't on till half 10 at nigh we needed to fill our bellies full of food and our livers full of drink. I love going the Hard Rock Cafe for any special occasion and the vibe just suits my personality to a T, so why not for my birthday. We got food there and had a couple of drinks and decided to head onto somewhere else. Last year i was told my a mate of a place that makes some of the best cocktails going and is a cool spot. The place is Izakaya on Georges st . I really really love the atmosphere of this place but you wouldn't be having more than a few in here as the drinks are quiet pricey. 

Now, onto the most exciting bit for me ....... THE OUTFIT . Hate to let you's all down but i didn't get really good pics of it as i rushing almost the whole night to fit everything i wanted to do in ..... but I'll upload the ones i have anyways. Again another reason i dislike the timing of my birthday ..... i have to wear poxy tights with everything as it is FREEZING OUT. Moving on, i wanted to got for a kind of glam look so gave it a bash and here are the results :

So to say i was spoiled is an understatement. I'm not bragging but i seriously am so greatful and surprised by what people got me. Specially my boyfriend and family. I have a few pics of what i got but haven't got pics of everything cause that was far too much effort if I'm honest haha. Also the pics include a pic of my amazing birthday cake.

I also got monies for my birthday as well and i thought as it was my birthday id go ahead and treat meself. My official birthday was Sunday so i went to town and went shopping. Long i have lusted for a Chanel lipstick. Now i know it isn't that extravagant thing to buy but i didn't no what to buy outta my money so i thought this was best thing to purchase. I also took a trip to topshop on Grafton st. i just picked up two things , a crop top in putter pink and pom pom hair clips . I plan on doing a look with these over the Christmas.

FIRST TOLA VINTAGE KILO SALE

Today i finally got to head over to the RDS for a Tola Vintage Kilo sale. I was quiet an experience for me and my friend Sophia, who is also a fellow blogger. We had planned on getting some blog pics of this adventure but due to the horrible weather of Dublin that was a fail. So our adventure began as we got to the RDS and didn't have a blues clue as to where the destination ''HALL 4'' was. As we kept on walking with hopes of finding said place we began to notice about 10 girls following us as if we knew where we were going. 

Along the way we picked up two more girls who hadn't a clue but our main objective was getting ourselves to the place not these other people. Eventually , after a full circle of the place we found it . As we went in we were greeted by happy staff and booming music ...... both which were a good welcome. THEN, i was expecting the madness to begin , but nope no madness . The place was so quiet compared to what friends had told me about the kilos sales . Id say it was due to the weather if I'm honest. We began scouring the rails for shit we liked and were left kinda, well, disappointed . I think maybe if we got there earlier we woulda hit the jack pot . That's not to say i didn't pick anything up ...... I'm Jen, so of course i did. I got three amazing pieces that came to 50e which isn't bad when you see what i got :) :) I would defo recommend visiting a kilo sale as like i said before somethings you can hit the jack pot and it seems tola is the best and most frequent one going right about now.

Here are the items i got :

This pink sequin top was my little mini jack pot if I'm truly honest. I am not a fan of pink but i just had to have this. Its screamed at me. I have my birthday coming up and i like to have alot of options for outfits and this is defo a possibility. I just love it and sequences is perfect for this festive time of year.

Speaking of festive .... just fucking look at how amazing and ugly this shirt is !!!! By ugly i mean in a good way. This is the type of thing u were and get ''WTF'' faces off the girlos and a few weeks later they have covered themselves in metallic ugliness :) :) I bloody cannot wait to wear this. It hasn't mad the bday possibilities but will 100% make an appearance sharpish.

This little bad boy is the reason paying 50e for 3 items worth it at a kilo sale ! Well this and the pink sequin top ... both kinda weighed a good bit. I am an absolute coat/jacket fiend and this is the 2nd one Ive bought this week . But I'm sorry look at the condition this thing is in , peak ! It had to make its way into my wardrobe and my collection. I will 99.9% wear this out on my bday night out i think.

WEEK OFF WORK = ADVENTURES

This is gonna be a pic filled blog , see I'm on a weeks holidays from work and had plenty of days to go strolling. As well as pic filled its gonna be a food pic filled blog also . Food is my 2nd love after fashion :) :) I have hit up Aungier danger, Wow burger , Itsa , Jo'burger , Starbucks and many many more . I tried to have a fun filled week but my main priority other than spending time with loved ones was CHRISTMAS SHOPPING !!!!!!! 

For all you grinches thinking it premature ....... i started in AUGUST ! I am almost finished and after going on a splurge this week I'm closer than ever ! I don't have pics of my outfits from everyday BUT i do have a goodie:)
